Hubby hasn't been to the diner in over 20 years and had to stop in when we were visiting the area. The diner is spotless and the staff friendly. We were seated right away. Our waitress was attentive and talked us into the specials. Thank you!!!! On a side note, the bathrooms are clean and actually smell good We ordered the lunch specials which include a drink, soup or salad, entree and dessert. A steal at under $20! We were in the mood for Greek and we got a gyro and chicken souvlaki. I was really happy with my souvlaki. Normally it's chunks of chicken with shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes but this came with chicken, sauteed peppers and onions and tomatoes. So good and so flavorful. Hubby was eyeing my dish but he was happy with his gyro. The tzatziki sauce was definitely fresh and homemade and delicious! The pea soup was so creamy and warm and the salad came with all the fixings. Finally we took our chocolate chip cookies to go but they also offered pudding, ice cream and some other choices. We were served ultra fast which we needed as we were heading to a funeral. We had a great experience and highly recommend.

Bon G and I were going to a Dr in Smithtown and every time we went home we had passed the HPD. We finally stopped in and were impressed with the refurbishing that was going on..makes the place look like new! And, on a couple of visits our old friend Gus, who was the mgr at diner in Syosset for years was there to welcome us...We were there the first time for dinner and were very impressed with the menu choices and the free chicken fricazee place on the table as an appy...very good... for Dinner I had the Half Duck a couple of times and Bon eyed an 8 oz Burger which became her fav dish. For Lunch Bon had a wonderful salad with Tuna and Chicken Salad and i went for the Pancakes Deluxe...both really good and plentiful! Staff is friendly and service was great...You feel like the staff is making an effort to insure a good meal and the results are apparent...We LUV this place and recommend it highly!

Stopped in for a late dinner and was impressed with the service , ambiance and food quality. My server warmly greeted me and made some suggestions for both appetizer and main course. Although I opted for a sandwich the Food quality was excellent with generous portions. Conveniently located off Route 347 I"ll definitely try this diner again.

Food was on point. We had a nice spot for an early lunch and good conversation. Servers are pros and know how to get your order and keep it moving without being in your face. The real deal diner experience

The diner is bright and airy with plenty of seating. My wife and I stopped in for brunch on our way home from shopping. If you are a fan of mid-century modern decor, do not forget to check out the overhead lighting. Upon entering we were seated at a small but comfortable booth near the counter. Our waitress was a delight! I ordered the turkey burger and fries with a decaffeinated coffee. The burger was huge, juicy, and absolutely delicious. The fries were hot and tasty. The coffee was strong, hot, and satisfying. The Takeaways 1. The turkey burger was one of the best I have ever had. 2. If you like strong coffee, this diner is the place. 3. Plenty of parking. 4. Huge menu 5. Excellent bang for the buck! Final thoughts... If in the area and you are hungry, great place for a quick meal.
